Who am I
My
name is Huhtala, Mikko Huhtala. I live in a small town called Parkano
in Western Finland.
People usually think that Finland is nothing more than a small spot on the map with long, cold and dark winters, polar bears and shy, speechless people.
But that’s not entirely true. Instead of polar bears we have thousands of beautiful lakes all around the country. We also have “green gold”, lush, green forests.
And people are...
well... maybe it
takes more time for them to open up than in some other places. But when
you get to know them they are actually quite nice.
But now something about myself.
I was born in 1984 as a third child of our family. Since my early childhood one thing has affected my life quite a lot. It’s blindness.
As a child my eyesight started to grow weaker when I was four years old. Now I have been blind for about 13 years.
That has made my life a bit challenging. For example my hobby possibilities are of course limited.
But in spite of my physical limitations I have had a happy and active life. I have many good friends all around the world. I went to high school and finished it with good grades with the help of my personal assistant.
And of course I have the music!
